Cook meals to digital perfectionThe BBQ Taste-Temp Fork was the first of it’s kind to include both a built-in digital thermometer and food light. It comes pre-configured with five meat types, each with four levels of doneness for a total of 20 different possible cooking options. It also includes a user defined monitor mode, where you can simply monitor the food temperature without being confined to a single meat type and doneness level.The built-in food light is safely tucked away behind a clear plastic shield, protecting it from grease and accidental bumps. The light can be activated at the touch of a button whenever the unit is powered on. The LCD display is also backlight, ensuring easy reading of the display no matter what condition are like.Using the Taste-Temp Fork is incredibly easy. Simply turn the unit on, insert the tines into the meat, waiting for a few seconds to allow the tines to become warm to the temperature of the meat, and then read the temperature and doneness level displayed on the LCD. If the fork is set for a specific meat and doneness, the unit will beep and the display will flash to alert the cook that the meal is done.It is constructed of heat-resistant ABS plastic, with stainless steel tines. The handle has a textured grip to help eliminate slippage of the fork during use.
